The Break Up

I've got a great idea. Why don't I pay $9.50 to relive the worst part of all my relationships ever! Oh wait, I just did that.  Honestly, if I wanted to feel the way that this movie made me feel, I would just go pick a fight with my boyfriend.  If you have never had a serious relationship, this movie will go right over your head and you will hate it. If you have ever had a serious relationship, this movie will hit too close to home, and you will spend the next 109 minutes re-experiencing really horrible emotions that I don't think you want to.

Boy, if this is the ending that they thought would make the audiences like this movie more, I can't wait to see how it originally ended. It must be amazing. I have never seen a more unhappy audience walk out of a theater before in my life.

Not only was all the advertising for this movie misleading, but the film also doesn't seem to know which direction it wants to take. It wants to be a comedy, I think, but it's like that really depressed person who is putting on an act while still overwhelming you with all their misery.

My recommendation, don't see it. Don't ever pay money to let someone make you feel like crap. Have a nice day!
