Walk the Line

Wow, this movie was long. So long in fact, that I had to watch it at two different times.  Some people loved this movie, some people thought that it was incredibly boring.  I"m glad that I watched it once, but I'm not going to repeat the experience.  Seeing as I had no real knowledge of Johnny Cash or anything like that, this was more like a VH1 behind the music special for me than anything else. I think that they could have probably removed a few of the songs and long meaningful looks and the movie would have been fine. I also wanted to know more about their life after they got together.  However I don't think that I could have sat through anymore movie. As it was, I did all my dishes, got my desk clean, and swept my apartment while watching the last 45 minutes.  Oh, and have I ever told you just how much I hate it when people mumble through dialog?  I don't want to pay money to not understand what is going on since someone can't be bothered to enunciate. :(
