Mission Impossible 3

Well, it was better than the 2nd movie. :)  I liked the first Mission Impossible, and here is why; it was about espionage, (that means spies not the swat team), it was a strong ensemble cast, and the details were astounding in the plot.  All three of those items are missing in this film.  It felt like the writers came out with a vague outline of a plot, and then called it good.  I think one of my favorite parts involves the theft of the rabbit's foot. I don't know if they ran out of money or ideas, but it was kinda obvious that they couldn't figure something out.  Since when does a mission impossible movie involve watching the people waiting for Ethan Hunt to complete something amazing???  Oh and one of my favorite life lessons ever was reinforced.  You know deep down in your heart that CPR just doesn't work (not that a registered nurse knows how to do it properly anyway).  The only real way to bring someone back from death is by putting all your anger at the cruel, cruel world into a passionate and wildly flailing fist that will immediately start any heat.  Anyway, my recommendation is that if you want to see this movie, see it in the theater that way the explosions are really big and the sound is good.  But don't go for the stellar acting skills and deep plot twists. The supporting team is great, you'll just wish that you got to know them too....
