Thirst - Christopher Pike

I decided read Thirst No. 1 and No. 2 purely on the cover art and the thickness of the books, as I tend to be a fast reader. The story was moderately entertaining, but didn't hold my attention very well. While I somewhat cared about Sita, the main character, hey whining and easy ability to fall in love were somewhat annoying. For an incredibly old vampire, she seemed to have little to no sense of humor, and the motivation for most of her actions were lacking. My over all impression was that the stories could have been more than they were. They felt like a rough framework, missing the juicy meat that makes you want to keep reading.
My recommendation would be to read it if it is laying around, but I don't know if I would go out of my way to read it (them).
