How many times did I attempt to go to this movie? I think like 6, I made it on my 7th. Was it worth it? Yes! Was it worth seeing the Illusionist thinking that I was seeing the Prestige? Maybe...
So, after many trials and tribulations, I actually saw this damn movie, and you know what? I liked it!
This movie had a very lovely dark tone and feel. I was able to figure out what was going on, however the film was good at trying to make me second guess my assumptions. It's a movie where good and bad are not cut and dry, where you are never sure who you are supposed to root for. Christian Bale once again shows his range, with good old wolverine not doing to shabby of a job either. Honestly, I walked out of there happy, and with a craving to watch Batman Begins again. Guess I like those Christopher Nolan films, lol.
My suggestion, go see it, it's magical in the theater and you just won't get the same ambiance at home. :)
