Sookie Stackhouse Book 10

Dead in the Family (Sookie Stackhouse, Book 10)Dead in the Family (Sookie Stackhouse, Book 10)
Synopsis
Not a whole lot happens in this one. You get to meet Eric's maker...
Review
It really feels like the Sookie series is loosing steam. I used to pick up these books and not put them down. This time I easily set Dead in the Family and wandered away. It would have been nice to see some development in Sookie and Eric's relationship, or anything from Sookie other than a humorless shell. I understand the trauma, but she felt flat in this book.
My Recommendation
Read it if you like the series. If you haven't read the series, start at the beginning. If you were indifferent about the series, skip this one, it just feels like filler...

I know, I hate it. It's kind of like what they are doing to the True Blood show on HBO. The first season was OK, but now it's kind of like completely unrelated besides the character names.
